Contra Costa County Office of Education is pleased to partner with several County Offices of Education, Contra Costa County LEA's, and a variety of non-profit agencies, focusing on Priority 4 of the California Comprehensive State Literacy Plan. Through grants provided by the California Department of Education, the Contra Costa Literacy Project applies an evidence-based approach and emphasizes the assets of multilingual learners. We are building the capacity of educators to improve literacy and language development, especially for students with disabilities and students who are dually identified. Find out more.
