PLEASANT HILL, Calif.— Contra Costa County Office of Education (CCCOE) invites the community to view its 2022-2023 Annual Report to the Community which outlines the accomplishments of the past year by the agency, county school districts, its schools, and students. The report also includes information about the county’s Board of Education, school funding, how the agency serves its most vulnerable students, and more. The report can be viewed and downloaded on CCCOE’s website at
cocoschools.org/annualreport; it is available in English and Spanish.
“As a government agency and educational institution, it is important that members of the community are able to access information about the services we provide and the work we do,” Contra Costa County Superintendent of Schools Lynn Mackey said. “The Annual Report to the Community serves to provide information and give community members insight into how we serve our students and their families as well as school districts and educators.”

One of 58 counties in California, Contra Costa County (CCCOE) has the 11th largest public-school student population in the state (approximately 169,225 students). Officially established in 1932, CCCOE has a long history of providing direct services to some of our county's most vulnerable students, including young people who are incarcerated, homeless, or in foster care, as well as students who have severe physical or emotional challenges.
