The CCCOE Curriculum and Instruction Department provides professional learning opportunities in a variety of areas. The yearly areas of focus are developed with input from our Contra Costa COE Curriculum Council. Our 18 school districts and COE student programs provide valuable feedback regarding professional learning needs.

Social and Emotional Learning Community of Practice

This community of practice will center on building our own adult social emotional learning skills.

This community of practice will center on building our own adult social emotional learning skills. We will be using the text “Onward” by Elena Aguilar to support the emotional resilience and wellness of educators. Participants will receive a copy of the text and accompanying workbook.
This will be a seven (7) part series. Community of Practice members are encouraged to attend all 7 sessions but it is not required.
