Rainbow Community Center builds community, equity, & well-being among Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Questioning, & Intersex (LGBTQIA+) people and allies. Since 1995, they have been offering support & social opportunities for the LGBTQIA+ community and its allies.

The Trevor Project is the leading suicide prevention and crisis intervention nonprofit organization for LGBTQ Young People. They provide information and support to LGBTQ young people 24/7, all year around.

2022 National Survey on LGBTQ Youth Mental Health

The Trevor Project's 2022 National Survey provides critical insights into some of the most unique suicide risk factors faced by LGBTQ youth, top barriers to mental health care, and the negative impacts of COVID-19 and relentless anti-transgender legislation. The research also highlights several ways in which communities can support all the LGBTQ young people in their lives - and help prevent suicide.

The Suicide Prevention Resource Center in partnership NORC at the University of Chicago to develop a series of resource guides for professionals, families, communities, and technical assistance providers who regularly interact with youth who identify as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer/Questioning, Intersex, Asexual, and/or Two-Spirit.
