Dear Contra Costa County Community,

As we celebrate Classified School Employees Week, I am filled with gratitude and admiration for the incredible contributions our classified staff members make each and every day. This week is a special opportunity to recognize and honor the vital role they play in the success of our schools and the well-being of our students.

From custodians who ensure our facilities are safe and clean, to administrative assistants who keep our offices running smoothly, to instructional aides who provide invaluable support in the classroom, our classified employees are the unsung heroes of our educational system. Their dedication, hard work, and commitment to our students often go unnoticed, but their impact is profound and far-reaching.

In Contra Costa County, we are fortunate to have a team of classified employees who go above and beyond to create a positive learning environment for our students. Whether it's assisting with technology, preparing nutritious meals, or providing transportation services, each member of our classified staff plays a crucial role in fulfilling our mission of providing a high-quality education to every student, every day.

This week, I encourage you to take a moment to thank a classified employee for their service and dedication. Whether it's a simple gesture of appreciation or a heartfelt note of thanks, your recognition can make a world of difference in their day.

To all of our classified employees, thank you for everything you do. Your hard work, passion, and commitment are truly inspiring, and we are grateful for the positive impact you make in the lives of our students, families, and communities.

Sincerely,

Lynn Mackey
