Suicide Prevention Training: Together We Can Save Lives

The Wellness in Schools Programs provides free suicide prevention training for administrators, teachers, mental health support staff, and direct service providers from District School Sites and County Office of Education. Participants will learn:

• Strategies and tools needed to nurture the mental health of students and help reverse the trend of the suicide rate.
• The risk factors and warning signs of suicide.
• How to respond to youth who are at risk for suicide and connect them to appropriate resources.
• How to create a supportive environment for all youth that promote resiliency and decrease the risk of suicide.
